the SouthWest Precision Rifle Championship Series
Powered by Max Ordinate Academy
The SouthWest Precision Rifle Championship Series marks the return of a competitive tradition rooted in one simple question:
Who’s the Top Dog?
Max Ordinate Academy has partnered with Sin City Precision (Las Vegas, NV) and the San Diego Precision Rifle Club (Pala, CA) to reintroduce a regional championship series that rewards consistency, performance, and competitive grit across the Southwest.
Shooters who register for the SouthWest Championship Series (registration is FREE & coming soon) will have their five best match scores from January through November counted toward their season total. Scoring follows the proven “Best of the West” format:
(Match Percentage + Placement Score) ÷ 2
At the end of the season, all registered shooters are invited to the SouthWest Championship Match, where we close out the year and determine:
-
The Match Champion
-
The Overall Season Champion
-
And ultimately… who earns the title of SouthWest Top Dog
Shooters are encouraged to travel and compete at partner matches outside their home range, but participation at other venues is not required to qualify.
We are proud to revive this tradition and look forward to kicking off a strong, competitive season.
