Competition Prep Series: Performance Multiplier

The Competition Course 1 is the first course in the Max Ordinate competition training series for shooters seeking to master skills needed to compete in tactical style precision rifle matches. This is a single day training evolution focusing on implementing marksmanship fundamentals, competitor mindset, stage breakdown, operating within the rules, gear usage and limitations, supported positions, scope and reticle usage, and creating a basic foundation which the shooter can continue to build on as he or she progresses over time. Bad habits do not get better over time so we stress perfect practice, analyzing stages, video breakdown, and ultimately building confidence.

This course is medium paced but not focused on time as much as a standard. The course curriculum is designed to present the appropriate amount of information with a quick transition to range time that allows for a smooth flow and immediate practical application. Students will be expected to have a basic understanding of rifle operation and arrive at the training facility with a good zero and accurate muzzle velocity. Prior attendance at Max Ordinate courses is not required but PR 1 is recommended.
