About The Event

Long Range Precision Rifle 1 is the first course in our highly regarded civilian training series.  Students with all experience levels of precision rifles are welcome to attend this class to build a solid foundation for precision rifle shooting. This is up to a three (3) day training evolution.  Students will be introduced to a wide variety of precision rifle fundamental concepts including basic range safety, introduction to rifle scope systems, prone shooting essentials, Milradian / Minute-of-Angle units of measurement, introduction to wind calls / reading, and more.  In addition, actual on-the-firing-line time will consist of fundamental drills and shooting which support classroom concepts. Target engagement will be from 100 yards to 1,200+ yards, depending on the student’s specific weapon system.  This course is medium paced, designed to present the appropriate amount of information with a quick transition to range time.
