Precision Rifle 2 is the second course in our civilian training series. This is “THE Evolution” series where trained precision rifleman continue to refine their craft, seeking improvement in every area, eliminating small mistakes and establishing an ability to achieve impacts from any position.

About The Event
Precision Rifle 2 is the second course in our highly regarded civilian training series. This is an intermediate level course, designed to further enhance a student’s skillset with precision file shooting. Students will be expected to have fundamental knowledge and experience utilizing their weapon system, understanding their optic functions, and engaging targets from the prone position. This is a three (3) day training evolution. We will instruct and teach the student on advanced optics usage, alternate shooting positions (barricades, vehicles, barrels, tripod, etc), advanced internal and external ballistics, wind calling / reading, and more. As usual, classroom theory will be support be live fire practice and drills to emphasize new concepts. Target engagement will be from 100 yards to 1,200+ yards, depending on the student’s specific weapon system. This course is medium paced, designed to present the appropriate amount of information with a quick transition to range time.

PR2.1 (Day 1 Tuition) Friday
This is “THE Evolution” where every trained precision rifleman continues to refine their craft, seeking improvement in every aspect, eliminating small mistakes and establishing an ability to achieve impacts from any position. All of the basic marksmanship fundamentals continue to be a staple in each precision rifleman’s foundation but the application from prone to alternative positions must now be mastered.

After a short classroom agenda, students will transition to the Zero Range to conduct marksmanship grouping exercises from alternate positions. The staff will utilize this time to target specific areas of improvement for each shooter. Following successful target analysis, shooters will partner in groups of 2 and execute the Urban Field Course. The class will conduct numerous distance engagement drills and contest to further develop these advanced skill sets and measure each student’s progress.

The final day of the PR2 series stands to continue building on two major goals; Reinforce all of the knowledge and habits gained from evolutions 1 & 2 and introduce moving target engagement from tripods and alternate positions. Taking this high energy and fun atmosphere, students will prep, partner up into groups of two, and execute our unique Rural Field Course, moving target engagements, and long range positional shooting.
